PJ Sykes, a professional photographer from Richmond, VA, shoots visceral, compelling live shots that have appeared in national publications such as SPIN, Paste, Alternative Press, the regional RVA magazine, and featured on the websites of Merge Records, Touch and Go!, Dischord Records and TIME magazine. Tired of seeing less-than-stellar live rock photos, PJ began shooting at local shows six years ago. He enjoys being able to present to others what he sees—the story of the live musical experience.
